Content To Include Rose Ceremony Prediction Game and Sweepstakes, Exclusive Bachelor Analysis Video, Customized Evite for "Bachelorette" Parties, and Kiss Counter
Los Angeles - January 14, 2004 - ABC.com announced today that is has launched The Rose Ceremony Game for The Bachelorette. The prediction game and sweepstakes, which allows fans to predict who Meredith will give roses to in each rose ceremony, was a smash success when it launched with Bachelor Bob. Over 80,000 Bachelor fans locked in their weekly predictions as to who they thought Bachelor Bob would choose. The player with the highest number of points will win a pair of 1 carat Blue Nile Signature Collection Round Diamond Stud Earrings valued at over $3,500. Additionally, the site will exclusively feature "Extra Bachelor Analysis," an intriguing, insider's look from Charlie Maher, the runner-up from the first Bachelorette who now serves as correspondent for the nationally syndicated entertainment show, "Extra." Other video will include the weekly Bachelorette Video Diary, and Post-Rose Ceremony Bachelor reactions video. This exclusive programming for The Bachelorette can only be viewed through ABC Motion, a free service which allows broadband Internet users to view high-quality video, embedded in standard web pages. Also, a customized Evite featuring Meredith is available for fans to use in planning Bachelorette viewing parties.
