JUST tell your friends to Save Christmas Trees till around June sometime. Bring them out to the back 40/ back yard. A nice pile of say 15 trees lights up almost like an explosion with 20 foot flames. Can be seen for several miles across the water, if you are on the beach or float them in the water. The good thing is that the big flames calm down in just a few minutes so when the authorities arrive after the neighbors across the Bay call it in They just see a nice little hot dog roast. Give them guys some Smores ( see recipe on food ideas link). Have fun, keep safe= use thick gloves and stay back.
