How do you thank the many Doctors and Health professionals who have help to rid you or a loved one of a serious disease? The past 1 1/2 years has been very trying for my wife and I as she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. 18 months, 4 operations and numerous doctors later she is cancer free and ready to move on with a healthy life. My idea was to invite the many health professionals and our friends who were instrumental in her medical (and our mental) care and treatment, to a New Years Eve "open house" cocktail party. Is this a good idea? Will doctors come? We have developed such a great relationship with her doctors that it almost transcends patient/ doctor relationships. What do you think of this idea?
