We host a "Thanksgiving Eve" party every year for all our friends. I serve about 6-7 various appetizers (hot and cold), beer, wine and a "signature cocktail" of the evening which changes every year. Makes it much easier than trying to have a fully stocked bar The food comes out in shifts instead of all at once so there's always something piping hot on the table. I do one easy finger-food dessert. Everyone has a wonderful time and most of the work can be done the weekend before. It also helps that I don't host Thanksgiving!
