Cookie Baking Party posted by Cherese on 9/11/08

My group of fun ladies and I have been doing a cookie baking party for 3 years now. We LOVE it! In October everyone submits their cookie recipe. One of us shops for everyone's ingredients. We divide the cost between everyone. Everyone comes together in a home with a double oven and we spend all day baking everyone's recipe. When finished we divide between platers. Everyone goes home with a minimum of 6 dozen assorted cookies and the recipe's for each one. We use $1 4x6 brag books by scrap booking the covers to hold all the recipe's and create a mini cook book. We play a couple of games throughout the party for people to win baking related gifts. We have an RSVP Party in October to kick it off. Everyone brings their favorite indulgent to share. We play a mystery ingredient game. The ingredient they receive must be in their cookie recipe. We plan for the party and at the end gather in front of the TV for a chick flick. By coming to this party they are RSVPing to the Cookie Baking Party in December.
