Wine Tasting. I recently had a wine tasting party. I used evite for my party. I used some of evite's decorating and activity suggestions. I also created a game of my own and it was so much fun for everyone.
It was called "Amazing Taste Race". The game was based on wine lingo. So not only did they enjoy great wine and the company of others, they learned a little something! Everyone paired up in teams of 2, but I made everyone pair up with someone they don't know that well, so they were able to socialize with new people. This game took place all throughout my house. Each term was placed in a different room with the definition printed on a 4 x 6 card and I put them in a clear, plastic (cost effective) 4x6 frame. By each term was a clue. Each clue was a hint on the next term and a hint on what room this term was in. For example : Green - this term refers to a wine that tastes of un-ripe fruit. It is also how you describe someone who uses earth-friendly products and is a color NOT used to decorate in THIS room. Then when you found that room/term, you grabbed the next clue and so on. Each team was given a different clue so they started in a different room in the house so they weren't all going in the same direction. I gave them a sheet to write down their answers on and the first team who got them all right got a "wine related" prize. This was so much fun! I would recommend it to anyone. It really broke the ice for everyone and got them loosened up. It would really work for several types of parties.
I love your website. It makes planning get togethers so much fun. I really enjoy the decorating and activites etc tips. I also like to use your ecards!
Thank you!!!
